MAGIC. Every light, every ornament, every single decoration was "Oohed and Awed" over with such passion! It was actually pretty comical, because Ronan was so very loud and excited every time there was even a hint of Christmas spirit. "Tree!" at every evergreen he saw aglow. "Ho, Ho, Ho!" at every Santa he saw, no matter how big or small. And his hands down favorite decoration were Gingerbread Men. Who would have thought? Followed very closely by Snowmen.
And then there was The Grinch. He loved the stuffed Grinch from afar at Pottery Barn and even more surprisingly the real live one too. He made the front page of the San Diego newspaper with this shot. :)
Our holiday season started in San Diego...we rode the Old Poway Train and saw Santa arrive from the North Pole. We watched the boat parade on San Diego Harbor. Saw the beautiful Balboa Park all lit up for Balboa Nights. And even went to Santa's house!
And we were so blessed to be able to continue the festivities in the PNW....
Ronan was mesmorized by the Santa train circling under the tree Christmas morning - thank you Grammie and Papa! And his favorite gift, well the little orange at the bottom of his stocking of course!
It's a family tradition, and Ronan was in love at first sight. He hasn't stopped eating them since!
