On the day you were born!

This is a birth story. A rather exciting one as no one had a clue of what the ending would be until the very, very end.


Boy or girl? Big or small? Hair or no hair? All of us so ready to meet you!

And what a different, wonderfully different, story is your birth from your brother's. So much less stress and such a more carefree delivery.  Your Auntie Jenn was even able to join us for your delivery and the doctor dropped the drape so we could see you come into the world. We joked with the nurses and doctor (yes, there was only one) until literally the moment you joined us.

We had a poll going where each person had to guess boy or girl and the birth weight.  Well, Dr. Sanders and Daddy were the only one's who guessed boy, every one else guessed girl.

When the long awaited moment came, there was so much joy and excitement in the air and Dr. Sanders simply said....

"Well, I was right!"

"It's a boy!"

And there you were this perfect, TINY boy with SO much blond hair!!! We all laughed and cried and then laughed and cried some more (especially your Auntie Jenn).  And Dr. Sanders couldn't get over that hair! She went on and on about how she'd never seen a blond baby with so much hair in her whole career.

What a beautiful, precious baby you are.

All 7 pounds, 1 ounces and 20 inches of you.

And no one was more anxious than your brother Ronan. He told Grandmama all day, "I'm ready now. I go now. I go see my new brother."

It was a pretty special moment.
