Banks Lake 2013

Lots of things have changed over the last few years. Babies change a lot of things. This year at the face of Banks Lake looked a little different: there were more "snooze cruises" than "booze cruises," we had to leave our favorite Mexican place in a rush because of toddler meltdowns, more gazing at stars and meteor showers, and may have watched the sun rise more than once this trip. Oh and we were part of one of the wildest storms I think we will all ever experience. Crazy lightening danced across the sky, thunder boomed and shook the ground we were laying on, and the wind laid our tent down right on top of us...Ronan slept through it all!

But I will say Banks Lake was still full of fun in the sun, lounging, floating and relaxing. And the babies? They loved every second. We've got a few little adventurers on our hands who wanted to do it all - jet ski, boat, fish, hike, play holy balls, and well we drew the line when Ronan asked to "jump" off the cliffs with the big kids. We will have to wait a few more years for that buddy...

We left after 6 days totally exhausted, but we can't wait to go back and do it again with this crazy group of fun loving friends. Thanks Jacobson-Craig clan and extended loved ones for inviting us into your tradition once again. We look forward to the years ahead with our babies (and maybe even grandbabies too)!
